Julie Roys seeks and uncovers the truth. Trained as a reporter and guided by faith, she explores important issues facing Christians and spiritual seekers with uncommon honesty, fairness and intellectual rigor. Julie never shuns dissenting opinions, but enthusiastically welcomes frank and open discussion. A wife, mother of three and daughter of God, Julie’s rare mix of faith, family and investigative journalism makes her a unique Christian voice.
Julie hosts a live, national talk show on the Moody Radio Network called Up For Debate. The program teaches and models biblical discernment by exploring important issues related to faith. Unlike many programs, which present only one side of an issue, Up For Debate normally features two guests with differing opinions, and also call-in listeners.
Julie also writes and reports for various periodicals. Her articles have appeared in WORLD Magazine online, Her.meneutics, Boundless Webzine, The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood’s Family Channel, and Good News Magazine. She also is a sought-after speaker who has delivered weekend messages at mega-churches, key-note addresses for annual banquets and fund-raisers, and talks for women’s gatherings.
Julie and her husband live in the Chicago suburbs and have three children.
