Some are ingeniously using the internet. Others are transforming vans into rescue units.  And, still others are infiltrating abortion clinics to reach and convert abortion workers.

The pro-life movement is made up of millions of supporters and thousands of organizations that are leading the fight against abortion on the ground and in the courts. But as the abortion fight has evolved, so have the strategies being used to win the battle.

The following four pro-life organizations are re-thinking the fight against abortion and developing new ways to help women and save the lives of the unborn. Do you know of others? Please share your favorite pro-life organization in the comments below.

And Then There Were None

Is the best way to end abortion from the inside out? And Then There Were None (ATTWN) is a pro-life organization that seeks to do just that. Founded by former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson, And Then There Were None helps abortion clinic workers leave the abortion industry.

ATTWN provides abortion clinic workers with financial, emotional, and spiritual support while they transition out of the abortion industry. They also have professional recruiters who help them search for new non-abortion jobs in their area. And, workers who have witnessed illegal activity at their abortion clinic are provided with legal assistance.

To date, ATTWN says they’ve helped more than 200 workers leave the abortion industry and gathered enough testimony of illegal activity to permanently close several clinics. Many of those they help become advocates themselves and go on to help other people leave the industry.

Students for Life

There are lots of opinions about the current generation of young people, but one thing shouldn’t be overlooked — they are more pro-life than any other generation. Students for Life of America is the largest pro-life youth organization, and is dedicated to training and equipping college, high school, medical, and law school students to fight against abortion.

Since they’re beginning in the late 1970s, Students for Life has helped establish over 900 student pro-life organizations and train tens of thousands of students nationwide to take a stand for life on their campuses and in the future.

Their national conference is the largest pro-life youth event in the world, and fellowship programs train rising stars of the pro-life movement and connect them with other national pro-life organizations and U.S. Congressmen and Senators.

Heroic Media

The first place women considering abortion often turn is the internet — and when they do, Heroic Media is there. This innovative outreach creates inviting and compelling ads that pop up next to abortion clinic ads on the internet. If a woman clicks on one of these ads, she will then be directed to a website with contact information from a local pregnancy help clinic.

It’s a simple approach, but it’s proven to be very effective. Heroic Media ads have helped pregnancy help centers save more than 11,000 babies in the last five years — and on average, save 10 a day!

Currently, the Heroic Media ads appear about 11% of the time when women search the web for information about getting an abortion.  The organization wants to increase that percentage to 100% in the next five years, but needs a lot of money to do so — $750,000 per month, to be exact. That may seem like a lot, but the organization stresses that every donation, no matter how small, helps!

Save the Storks

Save the Storks is a non-profit organization that partners with pregnancy resource centers across the country to provide mobile medical vehicles called “Stork Busses.” These specialized vans can go anywhere and park wherever abortion-vulnerable women are – outside abortion clinics, college campuses, and low-income housing. Then, counselors invite women into the vans to receive the love and support they need to carry a baby to term.

The results have been incredible. According to the organization, four out of five women who board a Stork Buss will choose life after seeing the ultrasound images of their child. Joe Baker, CEO and founder of Save the Storks, explained this innovative pro-life initiative on my podcast Seeking Truth.

For $30/month, you can help Save the Storks save one mother and her child. Please prayerfully consider partnering with this awesome organization in this way!
