  1. Ms Styche misses an important point in her article about church embezzlements. Churches can purchase fidelity insurance to financially protect them from loss caused by dishonest employees and volunteers. When churches do buy fidelity insurance they often buy nominal amounts. Even a relatively small church can experience fidelity losses of several $100,000’s.
