After leading tens of thousands in worship at events where hundreds of college students were baptized, evangelist Jennie Allen was overjoyed to baptize her own daughter on Sunday.
“Baptizing our daughter at her incredible church in College Station last night was a highlight of my life!” says Allen on social media.
In recent years, Allen has been working alongside Unite US to bring revival events of worship and teaching to many secular colleges and universities across America.
Many of those events hosted impromptu baptisms in the parking lot afterward, including a gathering of over 6,000 Ohio State University students on February 19, some of whom were baptized in the back of a pickup truck after the prayer event.
This past Sunday, Allen alongside her husband, Zac, a pastor in Austin, baptized their daughter, Caroline, through tears. The baptism took place outside the local church that Caroline attends in College Station, Texas.

“How could it get better than this?! (Caroline), we are so proud of you and the way you are following Jesus!” Allen posted online.
Throughout last year, Allen has been a leading voice at the Unite US prayer and worship events, some with tens of thousands of students participating.
Last fall, Allen shared the testimony of a student named Kaden, who told Allen that he had been using and dealing drugs on his Tennessee college campus. But he said Allen’s message on “what it means to truly be a Christian” changed his life.
“I said to my friend, ‘I’m done. I’m going all in. Like, it’s me and Jesus,’” said Kaden, in a video posted last year. He dropped out of the fraternity he was in, and began to pursue a ministry degree.
Two months ago, Allen also hosted a virtual revival event called Gather 25, which reached millions of people across the globe.
