Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old Utah man cargado with assassinating conservative Christian activist Charlie Kirk, appears to have confessed online to the crime, el poste de washington informado.

“Hey guys, I have bad news for you all,” read a message on Robinson’s account on Discord, an online platform. “It was me at UVU yesterday. im sorry for all of this.”

The Post reported that the image was sent on Thursday night, shortly before Robinson was apprehended. An anonymous member of a group chat shared a screenshot of the conversation with the Post and confirmed it came from Robinson’s account.

This comes as more details about Robinson have surfaced, including that he had a transgender partner, and that both Robinson and his partner hated “conservatives and Christians.”

Speaking on news programs Sunday morning, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox confirmed Robinson’s relationship with a man who was “transitioning from male to female.”

Cox, a Republican in his second term, dicho ABC News’ “This Week” that Robinson’s roommate and partner is cooperating with authorities in the probe.

Cox told NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” that although Robinson “has not been cooperating so far,” his partner “did not have any knowledge. (He) was shocked when they when they found out about it, when he found out about it.”

Fox News on Sunday citado a relative of the partner, saying Robinson’s roommate shared the alleged shooter’s hatred of conservatives.

“(Robinson) hates conservatives and Christians,” the unidentified relation told Fox. “He hated us. He was not raised that way, but he, over the years, has become really detached (and) been radicalized.”

Neither Cox nor the Fox News report named Robinson’s transitioning “partner.” But multiple media reports — backed up by neighbors in the St. George townhome complex where Robinson and the individual shared an $1,800/month rental — identified him as Lance Twiggs, also 22. Twiggs was described as “an aspiring professional (video) gamer.”

Twiggs has not been arrested or charged in the case as of time of publishing.

More revelations about the Mormon-raised Robinson’s personal life came from an interview with FBI Director Kash Patel on “Fox & Friends” Monday.

“I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody,” Patel said.

Patel said the agency has evidence Robinson was planning to kill the popular conservative speaker.

“He had a text message exchange with another individual in which he claimed that he had an opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk — and he was going to do it because of his hatred for what Charlie stood for,” Patel said.

Kirk, an evangelical Christian whose Turning Point USA organization sponsored debates and rallies on college campuses, embraced a faith-focused stance in recent years, urging his hearers to consider Christianity. He also was a prominent supporter of President Donald J. Trump’s 2024 campaign, a position that drew criticism from some quarters.

Kirk’s funeral is scheduled for next Sunday at the State Farm Stadium, a 63,000-seat arena in Glendale, Arizona. President Trump has indicated he will attend.

  1. I have always deplored the crassness Trump brought to our political discourse and the cultish behavior of MAGA, but the violence of the left has to be addressed. The burning of cities, attacks on police, and organized riots have gone largely unpunished. Nobody seems interested in tracking down who funds groups like Antifa.

Our colleges and universities have become brainwashing centers, led by “academics” who (based on their celebration videos) are completely unhinged. It’s rather ironic that the people who invented cancel culture have found themselves on the receiving end for publicly celebrating and encouraging the cold-blooded murder of an innocent man. Where Charlie invited debate, they brought people to scream far left talking points into the microphone and in deranged Tik Tok videos. Rather than open discussion, they brought carefully edited cuts of Charlie’s comments to manufacture justification for their hatred of the man, to demonize him, and to declare him worthy of assassination.

The message? If you disagree with the left, you’re a dangerous clump of cells that society should abort with a bullet.

The majority of Republicans won’t respond with violence because their faith won’t allow it unless it’s in self defense, but people like Tyler Robinson have no God or Judeo-Christian moral code to answer to. That should terrify all of us.

Finally, we have to stop pretending transgenderism is anything other than a mental illness that needs to be treated. That illness is being exploited by people with warped ideologies to convince confused kids that violence is the only answer. The recent uptick in trans shooters is far out of proportion to their population.

    Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk.

    1. This right here is one of the best, well thought out, straight to the point responses written here. Like you, not a fan of Trump crassness. Thank you for writing what I could not put in words.

    2. It is important to remember that, according to St. Paul, “you who pass judgement do the same things” (Rom. 2:1, NIV). Whether “the left” (whoever that is) is more violent than the MAGA depends on how one defines and measures violence and whether statistical differences actually matter morally in God’s eyes. The person who murders one is just as likely to face eternal judgement as the tyrant who murders millions. Besides, Tyler is one person. Does he speak for the majority of Democrats? Do you like “the left” to lump you in with those on the right who commit violence?
Is it logical to compare a “majority of Republicans” to “people like Tyler Robinson [who] have no God or Judeo-Christian moral code to answer to?” Could not the fact that Pres. Trump and his MAGA coalition gained power a second time despite Pres. Trump’s personal corruption indicate that a plurality of Republicans may also “have no God or Judeo-Christian moral code to answer to?”
We must be very careful, in these dangerously polarized times, not to place our thumbs on the moral scales.

  2. The problem too is that hate is even preached from the pulpit. Saying that one group of people are better than the other is what is being said instead of preaching the Word of God. So people leave the church and unfortunately since they don’t have a good base, they will go and find more hate outside. Hate is sewn at home and then at church.
We are surrounded by hate and we are letting it win.

  3. “ “I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody,” Patel said.”

Positively processed? What does that even mean?

  4. The amazing thing about this sad saga is that the young man, Tyler Robinson, murdered Charlie Kirk primarily due to the fact that Charlie often repudiated Transgenderism, and astonishingly, it is the Transgender that turned on him and gave significant social media data to the FBI. The deceitfulness of Sin is a real thing according to the book of Hebrews…and human experience. That young man will sit in his Prison cell everyday thinking about the foolish act he committed…for a so-called “Trans Lover”….only to be betrayed by the same! How sad and tragic. Yes, we should pray for the Salvation of young Tyler Robinson and the Trans guy, Lance Twiggs, as Jesus loves them both and died for them as well. Sadly, Charlie wanted to tell people that great Truth if they had only not been deceived.

  5. It is interesting that Tyler “hates conservatives and Christians.” I wonder why he lumps those two camps together. I wonder if he realizes that there are Christians who do not share Charlie Kirk’s brand of conservatism. Maybe he does. Maybe if one were to ask him to clarify, he would say he hates “conservative Christians,” which changes the impression a little. I wonder what he would think if he were to see Christians of divers political ideologies publicly agree on the fundamental Gospel: the person who confesses Jesus as Lord and believes in his or her heart he was raised from the dead will be saved. Each party has Christians in it who agree on this central truth. It seems to me part of the problem arises when we identify Christianity too closely with a political ideology and are too judgemental of people who behave in ways that do not comport with Biblical morality.
