As first reported by WFLA 8, William Martinez is charged in Hernando County Court with two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior of a victim over 12 and less than 16, and two counts of sexual battery familial/custodial of a victim over 12 and less than 16.
Martinez, 55, a married pastor at Kingdom of Hope Ministries in Weeki Wachee, Florida, denied the allegations.

Martinez’ wife, Goddess Martinez, turned her husband into the authorities after she learned from the teen’s parents about the alleged assault.

The teen reportedly told police that while her relative was at a doctor’s appointment, she drank a slurpee that tasted funny and ingested a THC gummy, and then Martinez assaulted her.
Según un arrest report, the teenager’s body tested positive for semen and her urine tested positive for THC, the main ingredient in marijuana.
Martinez spent 20 years in prison for armed robbery, trafficking in cocaine, providing a false name to law enforcement, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of crack cocaine, criminal impersonation, and criminal possession of firearm, the report states.
He is being held on $300,000 bail at the Hernando County Jail. Conditions of the bail, if Martinez is released, are no contact with the victim or with anyone under the age of 18, and GPS monitoring.

Convicted felon posing as a pastor. Many churches have no discernment. This man never met the biblical qulifications to be an elder according to Scripture.
You know this how? He posted over 90 sermons on YouTube during the pandemic. Seems rather a lot for someone “posing as a pastor”. Somehow I doubt you’d have been calling him a fake if you’d watched them before his arrest.
If there’s anything you should learn from reading this website it’s that Christians, including Christian pastors, are more than capable of committing crimes too. Disowning those who fall is the equivalent of brushing the dirt under the carpet. Living in denial is a very dangerous place to be.
Mike, not meeting qualifications to be a pastor is not referring to the ability to preach or do all the preacher like things. It’s speaking of the biblical qualifications clearly outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and from Titus.
You can have all the credentials and every outward pastorly appearance and yet completely fail the Biblical test.

I take it that she’s not a follower of John MacArthur.
this is why people who have proven that they are willing to break laws should not be give power and authority. there are many many many ways for former felons to be an active part of the Body of Christ without being in leadership with power and authority.
people should not get a second chance to harm others.
At last! A wife who refused to be an enabler.
Agreed. It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to someone with a proven track record of violent crime behind them.
