My suggestion would be to find a quiet place and read your Bible all the way through, beginning with Luke through Revelation, then Genesis through Mark. Just 3 or 4 pages per day. And asking the Lord for His guidance and how you can serve Him. And pray, but also take time to listen. An hour or two per day just kicked back in the recliner, emptying your head of everything possible, and listen.
And I’d bet that in so many months you will be refreshed and ready to continue as His.
Thank you for having the courage and decency to apologize to the LGBT community. I’m sure you will find understanding and forgiveness. United Church of Christ (UCC) welcomes all. And many other denominations have a significant number of churches that are LGBT friendly. And racially welcoming. I won’t go to a church that doesn’t welcome everyone.
