A North Carolina children’s pastor was arrested May 6 for distributing child sexual abuse materials involving an elementary school-aged girl, as first reported by WNCN-TV, Ch. 17 the CBS affiliate for Raleigh.

Aaron Luke Bradley, 30, was taken into custody by Wake Forest police officers, the news agency reported. He is accused of distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) through the social platform “Kik” on March 10 and charged with second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Wake Forest police told the Raleigh News and Observer that Bradley allegedly shared a graphic video of a girl between 9 and 12 years old.

CBS 17 reported that Bradley, who is free on $50,000 bail, joined Living Hope Raleigh, the English-speaking congregation of First Korean Baptist Church, in 2022.

He served as the church’s elementary department minister prior to his arrest.

Living Hope has not responded to inquiries by The Roys Report (TRR).

The newspaper outlet reported that Bradley no longer works at the church, and that, as a condition of his release, he cannot contact anyone under 18 unless previously approved by a judge.

  1. You assist our clear thinking with every revelation in your column. These horrendous crimes are more prevalent than before.

    1. Yes. The Roys Report is doing God’s work by reporting on clergy crimes. But I don’t think these criminal acts by the clergy are any more prevalent now than they have ever been. What has changed are the implementation of mandatory reporting laws, law enforcement learning how to interview and believe victims, and judges and juries not allowing “the cloth” to distract them from locking up criminals, regardless of how well respected they might have been before they got caught.
