Ray Comfort is removing his popular television program, Way of the Master, from embattled Daystar TV, making him the 18el programmer to cut ties with the embattled Christian television network.
“(I)n consideration of recent public allegations made against Daystar—allegations of a very serious nature—we can no longer in good conscience allow our content to remain on the network,” Comfort’s ministry, Living Waters, announced today in una declaración.
Living Waters acknowledged it does not “have the capacity” to investigate the allegations, but said they are “of such a nature that, while not passing any conclusive judgement on the matter, we are compelled to (leave the network).”
The ministry added, “We have reached out to Daystar, urging repentance if the allegations are true, and we pray that all involved will demonstrate complete honesty and total transparency.”
Living Waters’ actions come three months after El Informe Roys (TRR) broke the story of alleged cover-up by Daystar TV President Joni Lamb of child sex abuse.

The allegations came from Lamb’s son and former Daystar TV Vice President Jonathan Lamb and his wife, Suzy Lamb, who claimed a relative sexually abused their daughter. The couple say that when the allegations came to light, Joni and her late husband, Marcus Lamb, suppressed the truth to protect the accused family member.
The couple also claim that Marcus and Joni pressured Suzy to hide her sexual assault by a chiropractor hired by Daystar.

TRR also published stories documenting alleged financial misconduct y intimidation tactics by Joni Lamb and Daystar, as well as a secret recording showing alleged spiritual abuse by Joni and Bible teacher, Jimmy Evans.
According to the Living Waters statement, Way of the Master has aired on Daystar for more than 20 years, reaching over 190 countries.
During this time, Living Waters has “prayerfully remained on the network under three conditions,” the ministry said. These included not being censored, not paying for airtime, and not receiving any financial compensation from Daystar.
Other Daystar programmers, like Prophecy Watchers, say Daystar charged them $50,000/month for a late-night time slot.
Way of the Master aired in the middle of the night on Daystar’s TV network. The show will now be available for streaming on Living Water’s new platform: LivingWaters.tv.
Other programmers that have left Daystar include joyce meyer, Jesse Duplantis, Lance Wallnau, Jack Graham, Adrian Rogers, and Baruch Korman. The first programmer to leave was Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson, who cited the network’s “ethical deficits.”
Despite the exodus, Joni Lamb has remained defiant and yesterday led listeners in a prayer cursing her enemies.
“Breathe your breath, God, into the wind and blow it into the enemy’s camp, causing pain, confusion, and anguish,” Joni prayed. “Blind them every time they look upon my territory, my dominion, or anything connected to it. . . .”

I’m happy to see this. Hopefully more will wake up and boycott Daystar and see the harm they folks are causing. It’s terrible.
I hope that the Daystar board gets this taken care of quickly. Daystar is an incredible asset for the Kingdom. Kingdom is bigger than any one personality. Paul Crouch Jr would be an excellent president at Daystar in my opinion. Let’s not lose the network.
Ernesto Leon, How does that work in your world?
Joni IS the Daystar board, and she fired the only board member willing to stand up to her.
Joni prayed. “Blind them every time they look upon my territory, my dominion, or anything connected to it. . . .” Who does she think she is claiming MY ministry? Joni better be careful or she might find God’s breath of fire onto her.
Just another Witch casting a Hex on anyone she doesn’t like.
Pennsylvania Dutch and Appalachian lore are full of Witches and Conjure-Men living high by extorting money and goods out of people by threatening to put a Hex on them. As they say in PA Dutch country, “She thinks she can do more than bake bread.”
I agree! Jezebel Joni and Devil Doug need to repent before it is too late🙏🏻
Julie, thank you for your honest reporting and for defending the defenseless. I’m so proud of your work. God bless you.
Praise God!!!! I ignore the whole marriage thing b/c it’s none of my business, but the SA of a child is EVERYONE’s business and MUST be resolved, prosecuted, etc. I used to be a regular Daystar viewer, but not since “Dr Doug” showed up & gave me the creepies…
I APPLAUD TRR for your reporting! Can you provide a list of the other 10 or so former programmers not mentioned? I’d like to support at least some of them financially as I can. I thank God I’m nobody’s judge, but only a “fruit inspector.”
Most of the people leaving Daystar preach another gospel anyway, it’s laughable them pulling out of a network when they have caused just as much damage in the lives of those seeking Jesus! I appreciate the TRR and everything that they do, darkness needs to be called to the light. Actually I consider it an opportunity for the leaders to repent rather than falling under the judgement of God. Romans 6:16 says, “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey?
God may we be holy because you are holy! Have your way Jesus.
Roberta Harants, Please point out to us people on Daystar which preach the “true” Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Mr. Cremer,
Please point out anyone, on any platform, that preaches the “true” Gospel of Jesus Christ, that all of us can benefit from.
Joni has dug her heels in despite what the truth has revealed. God’s word will be the only one standing and she and all those who will not repent will pay the cost
Glad Ray Comfort left Daystar!!
Can Jonathan Lamb sue his mom after Miss Denice wrote letter telling of Marcus Lamb’s verbal final will??
Jonathan could contest the will but it’s unclear if he has even contacted legal counsel. Depending on the law in the State of Texas, there may be a path to claim what Miss Denise says Marcus Lamb decided.
She has not produced a record, e.g., an email she sent to Jonathan, created and dated when she says she was instructed. There is no clear reason why she has not produced a relevant document yet, or why Jonathan has not. She produced another family letter and made it public (her warning about Doug Weiss).
She said she told multiple people about what Marcus said, but none have produced a text message or anything to corroborate her allegation.
It is difficult to believe that Marcus, as a long-term business owner, and the leader of a billion-dollar company, would not have created a will long before he passed.
The way Denise told her story, it literally seemed he only just got around to thinking about writing up his will days before he died. Marcus could have called his attorney, and we know he had one long-term, and had him revise anything if he wanted to change something.
It is still possible of course that Marcus did in fact create his will many years ago, but he decided he wanted to change it just before he died. But again, he could have asked his attorney to visit him at the hospital, or called him. He was apparently still physically capable of speaking and signing a revised will.
I would like to know if Jonathan is seeking legal counsel. If he waits too long, the way Daystar is going, there will be nothing left to lead as Marcus planned for him.
May Doug Weiss return to the wife of his youth and remove the curse which adultery causes even to the third and to the fourth generations: Malachi 2:14 and Malachi 4:6 (Pharaoh and Abimelech both knew of this curse and YHWH did not even allow the men to touch Abraham’s wife: Genesis 12:17 and Genesis 20:3)
I am so grateful for your program and how you are bringing the truth about Daystar. I am grateful that young Lamb won’t be forgotten and the harm that has been done. I do not watch Daystar anymore because I see deception there and coverup. My whole life my family cover sexual abuse up. I now spent last six years in therapy and it has been the best gift I have given to myself. I know and hope God will bring more light over this darkness for little lamb.
With the continuous trickle of reports we keep seeing in the media, I suppose we’ll find out rather quickly if God will agree with Joni’s prayer request. My prediction: His response will be “No”.
Joni prayed for God to “Blind them every time they look upon “my” territory, “my” dominion, or anything connected to it. . . .” Since when is it Joni Lamb’s territory, dominion, etc.? Isn’t Daystar to be God’s dominion and territory He entrusted to Daystar “church”? If God’s ministry, the leader can be replaced or God may also the allow the ministry to be no more as has lost its first love and Truth. The Lord and Marcus Lamb watching down from Heaven have to be so grieved.
In addition to the many programmers leaving Daystar over their ethetical and moral concerns, I notice that these entities have their own podcasts now.
The cost barrier to entering podcasting is much lower than what it costs to broadcast on Daystar, plus you can access the programming at a day and time of your choosing.
So Daystar, in addition to a failing brand, also has a very expensive, somewhat outdated communication delivery system.
Amen and Amen to all the comments above except Ernesto’s.
UNBELIEVABLE that Joni Lamb uttered that curse!!! And on-air on top of that!!! And told viewers to join her in it!!! Wow–she’s even more committed to following the enemy’s plan than I even thought!
Glad to hear Ray Comfort finally left. Disappointed it took him so long.
praying curses onto your opponents…you know….just like Jesus taught
*eye roll*
I personally think the allegations against Pete are slander. I don’t trust Suzi and Jon, for they too profited off false doctrine for years, and still do. They gain off the gospel. I DO NOT TRUST THEM. However, Joni and Marcus platformed false teachers for years and years, and it’s time for it to stop. Joni bringing Kat Krick on was my last straw. Joni either has zero discernment or is such a babe in Christ she knows nothing. If it’s the latter, wow is that sad. Saved fifty years or whatever and you don’t know the Word. TRAVESTY.
Cynthia Keller: What is it that you distrust about Jonathan and Suzy Lamb’s story? The secret meeting recordings?
How about the recording Julie Roys posted that is blatant evidence of the collusion of two of three board members to suddenly appoint a fourth, then in the same meeting overpower and oust a member, son of the deceased co-founder, who had stipulated he was in line to be president?
Or, the recording where Joni gave Suzy Lamb an ultimatum, that if she refused to agree to Joni’s marriage to Doug, she would be immediately fired, and she was fired right then?
Or, what about other recordings, that are blatant evidence of the collusion by Daystar employees to overpower the recently demoted vice president, son of a deceased co-founder, who had stipulated he was in line to be president?
Jonathan Lamb has made this matter known, not as revenge or shaming, but to reveal professional sabotage and deep hypocrisy at the highest level of a globally influential corporation.
As for Joshua Brown, it can be summed up very simply. His wife Rachel put forth quite an effort online to silence those calling for her husband to at minimum issue his own statement. He has refused, even though he regularly speaks to the global public. That man is a deceiver and a coward, as well as several others upholding Daystar.
Shawn, thanks for the detailed recap. I interpreted Cynthia Keller’s comment differently: perhaps she meant that it could be hard to reconcile how J&S willingly participated with Daystar all those years, surrounded by many programmers with unsound doctrine, prosperity gospels, and yet they chose to appear as on air personalities, took salaries, etc., which made it look like they were in agreement with the Daystar way. I still wonder: was Daystar truly humble and following the Lord’s calling in the beginning, but then…the money (mammon, per Ralph J). Was it ever real at some point? And perhaps J&S never subscribed to some of the false doctrines that the network promoted, God knows. I do think that J&S are not like the rest of their cowardly family members, as they leaned towards a higher standard of accountability, like refusing a Daystar mortgage, questioning the DW marriage, calling out the absurd honeymoon expenditures. It took courage for them to stand up to the Joni. Luke 14:26-27
It is so sad that anyone still believes that anything that appears on Daystar or TBN is anything other than pure fiction. It is all entertainment designed to wrestle Mammon out of pocketbooks. They are three-ring circuses with people in charge who are the opposite of humble and not pure of heart. They do not see God and they lack the humility to hear God either. Reality is simply what it is.
