A fourth video just released by The Center for Medical Progress is perhaps the most shocking and disturbing yet. Not only does it catch a Planned Parenthood vice-president discussing how to skirt federal law forbidding the sale of baby body parts, it also reveals that babies may be born alive in some clinics and then killed!
The video features Dr. Savita Ginde, vice-president and medical director of Planned Parenthood for the Rocky Mountains (PPRM), discussing harvesting body parts and pricing with investigators posing as buyers from a fetal tissue procurement company. The buyers mention that they would like intact specimens. Then Ginde volunteers, “Sometimes, if we get – if someone delivers before we get to see them for a procedure, then we are intact.” In other words, sometimes babies are born before their abortion, which is a boon for Planned Parenthood because it has a completely intact specimen. This raises a horrifying possibility, though, since according to Lifenews.com, PPRM does not use digoxin or other feticide in its 2nd trimester procedures. This means these babies are likely born alive and then flagrantly murdered.
However, breaking the law doesn’t seem to pose any problem for Dr. Ginde. She is under no illusion that PPRM is in fact selling body parts, not donating them, in violation of federal law. At one point, Ginde remarks that submitting specific body parts, rather than unspecified tissue “works a little better, just because we can see how much we can get out of it.” And, she suggests categorizing the business transaction “under research” because it “gives us a little bit of overhang over the whole thing.” Otherwise, she says, “If you have someone in a really anti state who’s going to be doing this for you, they’re probably going to get caught.”
Ginde also explains that she has consulted with PPRM lawyer, Kevin Paul, who has built “layers” to obscure the fact that clinics are illegally selling fetal tissue: “He’s got it figured out that he knows that even if, because we talked to him in the beginning, you know, we were like, ‘We don’t want to get called on,’ you know, ‘selling fetal parts across states.’” Then, the buyers ask, “And you feel confident that they’re building those layers?” Ginde replies, “I’m confident that our Legal will make sure we’re not put in that situation.”
The video includes footage shot inside a Planned Parenthood pathology lab, showing Ginde, the buyer and medical assistants sorting through the remains of an 11-week abortion. The dialogue is sickening:
Ginde: “So do people want brain? What do they do with brain?”
Buyer: “Ya, so brain, what you can do is –“
Ginde: “Do people do stuff with eyeballs?”
Buyer: “Oh ya, although eyeballs, they generally want more developed than this. Then the cal(varium), head, there was, first there was a brain in here –“
Ginde: “Blasted out?”
Buyer: “Yeah, it got blasted out with the water.”
Ginde: “Well, you know, a lot of times, especially with the 2nd tris, is we won’t even put water, because it’s so big you can put your hand in there and just pick up the parts.”
Buyer: “Right, just pick it up.”
Ginde; “So, I don’t think it would be as war-torn.”
Buyer: “War-torn? Oh dear.”
Later, a medical assistant apparently notices genitals and exclaims, “And another boy!”
This fourth video comes as the U.S. Senate is considering a bill to de-fund Planned Parenthood. Senate GOP leaders are vowing to re-introduce the bill again and again if it fails to pass on its first vote. Also, a California court just issued a temporary restraining order against The Center for Medical Progress (CMP), barring it from releasing any undercover videos including top-level employees of StemExpress. StemExpress is a company that buys fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood. Perhaps this development accounts for the release of the fourth video just two days after the third was released. The three previous videos were released a week apart.
