  1. I wanna know why your against church so badly! Jesus say that they will hate me ! So you are hating on John because of Jesus! I truly hope that people pray for you! If it’s your life’s mission to go after one of gods own then I feel really sad for you there are so many things in the world that you can report on and this is what you choose the right articles on

  2. Having listened to the Johnson interview and your analysis I want to thank you for your relatively balanced assessment. I’m not sure if it’s as bad as you make it out to be but it’s certainly more balanced than Johnson’s response. Keep up the good work and God bless.

  3. If this is true, it’s a shame. Although pastors shouldn’t have to worry about money and it’s biblically ok to pay pastors and such, they should live humbly and should shy away from anything that makes them look like the preachers who do it for fortune. And they should understand that it’s God’s money and should only be using it for spreading the gospel and taking care of the orphans and widows and church members. Out of guilt and shame if anything. But there’s a scripture I’m reminded of in Philippians chapter 1, Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill: 16The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; 17but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel. 18What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice. At least Christ is being preached!!

  4. like most things we get dig into the details, there is always more to the story. With the exceptionally large impact John MacArthur, grace to you and the various ministries under his leadership has had on the world I would be fine if if he was a billionair!. Knowing his character, while admittedly not knowing him personally, I would venture to guess that whatever numbers are associated with his assets or income have come his way through honesty and diligence, not through greed, even the example you cited for the beautiful home that he bought in Colorado with his own funds there was a donation made to him for part of that purchase so again if you look at the story in balance that wasn’t an egregious error to buy with $800,000 of his own funds after being a ministry over 40 years ( at that time) a vacation property. I do not see him as even close to the elk of those who are prosperity gospel teachers who do not teach the word of God accurately and clearly are in it for selfish gain . He clearly distances himself from that group in spite of the somewhat large numbers you report about his net worth and his income

  5. I was looking for a free McArthur study bible.
(With comments). There isn’t any. Most bibles are free online. I asked why not. Now I see why.
Love of money is the root of all evil

  6. I had no idea. I’ve been a follower of John MacArthur for years, I have pointed others towards his teachings as well. I’m so ashamed. I pray God forgives me. The Bible teaches us in Matthew chapter 7, to remove the log in our own eye before we can see the speck in our brothers eye. And also we will be judged by the same standard of measure we judge others. I will pray for John.
