The lead guitarist of Skillet recently introduced a new member to their family.

On Friday, July 12, 2024, Seth Morrison’s wife, Hilary, gave birth to their second child, Grant David Morrison.

“To God be the glory!” said Morrison in a post on Instagram.

The pair says their son is another blessing after the couple struggled with conceiving for many years.

Fronted by John Cooper and his wife, Korey, with band mates Jen Ledger and Morrison, Skillet has been touring and recording as a band since 1996. The Christian rock band has garnered several multi-platinum records and multiple Billboard Music Awards.

Seth says Hilary surprised him while he was on tour last fall, flying out to let Seth know the good news.

“She broke the news to me before our show in Seattle that night! I broke the news to the band right before we walked to the stage. It’s a night I’ll always remember.”

Their daughter June will turn two this August and is excited to be a big sister, the post stated.
