  1. Always the family is hurt. The partner ( husband/wife) feel like they have to leave
the church they have worked, ministered to and most of the time away from family and friends who could support you through this difficult time. The shame of your partner being unfaithful to you and the church, is a great burden. Mom-Dad feels they must move from area, church family, children’s schools, Change job. All without financial support, get another job, Change schools and new housing while dealing with a destroyed marriage and what and how to move forward without the person you respected and loved. God help us all.

  2. Swindall said, “Never be alone with a woman who is not your wife”. I say, always take your wife with you when you travel, even if she has to quit a job or career to make this happen. Too many Christian women these days insist that they must fulfill their ambitions and talents with a career, even if it causes the family to suffer.

    1. To say that a man can never be alone with a woman not his wife even for a short time is to say nobody is trustworthy. People should not spend excessive amounts of time alone in unnecessary settings. However, it is insulting to imply that everyone has to be guarded every moment.

  3. Steve is wrong. The woman is also wrong.
You’re happy to blame the man and go easy on the adulterous woman. Both are wrong. It takes 2 willing people for this to happen.
