  1. Hola julie,

I have been following your investigation of MacDonald via The Elephants Debt for the last few years.

Interestingly enough, there was a time in the past when I saw him on stage (I think it was on TBN once) with some guests being hailed as some spiritual leaders … and I wondered why he was dressed like a hipster, grew his goatee, and was wearing some leather biker type jacket … somehow to prove his relevance. The most recent picture with his tattoos, torn jeans and full beard … and thought … this is what a wolf morphed into after self-directing OPM (Other Peoples Money) into, what I would now guess, is off-shore and not within reach of any judicially imposed claw-back.

If a man like Jim Cymbala or Jack Hayford morphed into such a character as this … my heart would crack in half! As to MacDonald, I never believed he was the genuine article and it was only a matter of time.

I heard on the radio a portion of a sermon from him when he was talking about the time he was in seminary and was accused of plagiarism. He admitted he did it, but that he did it to prove some point to the professor and somehow this seminary let him go through. He said something like … you judge for yourself … and I did. This guy is dishonorable a mammonite and thief. He has placed a stumbling block in front of many people. He has forfeited what could have been something wrapped in integrity with eternal value in exchange for a Harley, tats, hipster dufus appearance and complete disregard for responsibility as a shepherd. Enjoy Mr. Mammonite Hireling, it US short lived.

    Good job Julie!!!
