2023 is a year that Amy Schall will never forget.
Back in May, the 23-year-old nurse ended up in a coma after being involved in a serious crash. Schall says she was on her way to work when a driver allegedly drove through a red light and t-boned her car.
When she arrived at the hospital, doctors did not believe that Schall had suffered any life-threatening injuries. That quickly changed after an MRI revealed that Amy had suffered a traumatic brain injury.
“I had three areas of concern. The most prominent in the midbrain,” Schall said in an interview with News 5 Cleveland.
Shall was in a coma for days before regaining consciousness. When she did, she had to relearn how to walk and write, and she had no recollection of the crash or anything that had happened that month.

“It’s crazy that I was actually in that car . . . and actually lived through all of this because I don’t remember any of it,” said Schall to News 5 Cleveland. “Jesus was in that car with me, protecting me, as he did for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the Bible.”
Three weeks after the crash, Schall was walking, and within two months, she had returned to work.
“Just seeing the miracle that took place and how all my doctors are amazed and just how quick my recovery was too, I’m just very grateful to God for the miracle that He’s done in my life and that I still get to enjoy this life,” Schall said to News 5 Cleveland.
To remind her of God’s good grace, Amy got Isaiah 41:10 tattooed on her arm, a verse she says many read to her during her recovery.
Moving forward, Amy hopes one day to go on medical missions.
“I have this eternal hope, and this life is just a very small piece of time, so I’m just going through it trying to, you know, share God’s glory.”

The LORD is always our 4th man in the fire. I prayed over a dead (and buried) baby chick and it revived. I sought the Lord and He heard and He answered. HE is able. And that is why I trust in Him! Luke 11.13: the LORD loves us so very much that when we ask Him for His Holy Spirit He surely will send Him to us. And He’s not sending anyone else to us. After this I was accused of having a Jezebel spirit and doing sorcery by a man who is supposed to be an elder- he said this because I am a woman and not a man and the Bible says women are not to teach men. I think not- if I am 100% for the LORD I am not against Him! The LORD can and did heal this woman with supernatural quickness. I’ve worked in healthcare since I was 14 years old until I retired. I have seen many healing fast or over a short time that wasn’t supposed to happen, and those that healed this way were all prayed for.
