An Oklahoma pastor was arrested for alleged possession of child pornography, according to a presione soltar from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).
David Prince, 40, faces felony counts of possession of child abuse material and violations of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
Prince was being held Tuesday with a $250,000 bond at Pittsburg County Jail, according to jail records obtained by McAlester News-Capital.
Prince served as an associate pastor at Northgate Baptist Church in McAlester, Okla., and as a chaplain at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary. A spokesperson for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections said Prince was terminated Tuesday from his position as a full-time chaplain at the Penitentiary, McAlester News-Capital informado.

OSBI was first notified by the Oklahoma Counter Terrorism Intelligence Center on Nov. 1 of computer crimes that Prince allegedly committed, the bureau’s press release states. During these conversations, Prince claimed to engage in child exploitation.
Five days later, OSBI partnered with several law enforcement agencies to conduct a search warrant at Prince’s home in McAlester. Based on the evidence obtained during the search, the investigators said that Prince was arrested that the same day.
Prince’s church, Northgate, is an Independent Baptist church that recently celebrated its 70el anniversary, according to McAlester News-Capital.
The pastor at Northgate is Roy Prince. On the sitio web de la iglesia, it states that Roy Prince has three sons who “faithfully serve the Lord,” but TRR was unable to confirm if David Prince is related to Roy Prince.
Livestream vídeos of Northgate’s services previously showed David Prince preaching at the church. However, the church’s YouTube channel and Facebook page are no longer active.
