Josh Harris yesterday posted numerous pictures of himself at a gay pride parade, prompting questions about whether something other than existential angst had prompted the best-selling Christian author to kiss his marriage and faith goodbye. Also, five days ago, Harris posted something to Instagram that indicated Harris wasn’t quietly walking away from Christianity, but wholly embracing another path.
“That old Bukowski poem has been ringing in my ears. ‘If you’re going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start,'” Harris wrote. He further stated that it’s important to him “to refuse to disappear. To live my life. Hold my head up. Look my Christian friends in the eyes and smile when I pass them on the sidewalk. Even the seemingly insignificant act of posting a picture on Instagram is important for me. To say I’m here, I’m alive, I’m not ashamed.”
Below are Harris’ posts from yesterday, as well as his post from five days ago:

Oops, my mistake. I see it says “Love is great.”
This link provides a good summary of the gay agenda since the 70’s. They have achieved most if not all their goals except lowering the age of consent….so far. They won’t stop, the left never does, its their best talent and what they need to do in order to change people’s beliefs from what was considered normal morals… I’m not familiar with this organization(Forerunners) as a whole, I just found their link in a quick search and it gives a good synopsis.
I don’t know anything about Josh Harris, who he was or who he is claiming to be now. I do know as a church we should be praying for healing in our families, community, nation and in the church, as well as for repentance and restoration for all who are being tempted and falling away from their faith, Matthew 24: 4-14.
Harris, MacDonald, Hybels, et al… Brothers and Sisters put your faith in Christ alone, NOT your pastor. Pray for, encourage and support your pastors, their families, the ministries you’re involved with, just don’t worship them, that is for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
All this commotion about gun laws enactment is equivalent to treating cancer with a a band aid. The real blame is the drifting away and denouncing our Judeo-Christian heritage upon which our nation was founded — and mostly continued within until the 1960’s. Give credit–or blame–to the ACLU, FFRF, the SPLC, and similar atheist groups for removing, or rather attempting to remove, all references to Christians, Christian teaching, talk about God, denial of truth and history, and much more. I like to remember that in any situation it is always appropriate to ask something like, “Since God IS, what part did He or does He have in . . . “
Cool love seeing a female conservative Christian commenting about this super relevant and appropriate.
