JOINT STATEMENT OF WARREN COLE SMITH, MINISTRYWATCH.COM, Z MINISTRIES, AND JAMES HOGE
Warren Cole Smith, Ministry Watch.com, Z Ministries, Inc. (Z88.3 FM, Orlando) and James Hoge have been engaged in a legal dispute regarding content that was published on MinistryWatch.com and other websites.
The parties recognized that allowing the dispute to continue in the court system would be costly from a financial standpoint, as well as a detriment to the cause of Christ. We have therefore resolved the matter amicably in a spirit of reconciliation.
To say anything more about this would not further the parties’ desire and efforts to put the dispute behind us, and so we will not be answering questions or otherwise addressing this matter. As Paul exhorts us in Philippians 3:13- 14, we forget what lies behind and strain forward to what lies ahead in the prize of the upward call of Christ.

My immediate thought was that to change would affect the cash cow (at least in his mind) of Hoge.
Hoge is a narcissist. He is a micorcosm of Trump. Nacissism is growing becuase society is becoming more tolerent of it. This is extremely dangerous. According to Galatians 6 ” But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Can Mr. Hoge honestly say that these traits describe who he is?
Having worked for a toxic organization with toxic leadership, I can only say that all of this resonates with me.
Excuse me…if name-calling is not allowed, how is Donald Trump (or anyone else) a “narcissist”?
Because narcissism is a diagnostic term that applies to an identifiable set of behaviors, rather than being mere name calling.
Unless someone is qualified to make that diagnosis and is able to evaluate that person correctly, it sounds like name-calling to me. You could say someone acts like a narcissist, or exhibits traits of a narcissist.
