Popular Christian recording artist Jeremy Camp is out of surgery and it was a “success,” his wife reports.
In a video on Sunday, the Dove Award-winning singer had announced he has dealt with atrial fibrillation, which “leads to crazy heart rhythms.” Camp had to recently cut short a concert set due to the condition.
On Monday morning, doctors performed a cardiac ablation on Camp. Camp’s wife, Adrienne Camp, formerly of The Benjamin Gate, shared multiple Instagram stories and a post giving updates to fans.
“This time around definitely felt scarier,” she wrote, adding that the surgeon said, “Jeremy did great and his heart responded.”
She expressed gratitude for “how many people have carried us in prayer.”

She also shared images of Camp’s heart pre- and post-operation, as a point of prayer. “Let’s pray it heals (and) the electrical impulses stay where they’re supposed to.”
Later, on his official account, Adrienne shared a picture of Jeremy post-surgery. She wrote: “He’s resting and has to lay completely flat for a while. He’s enjoying being spoon-fed by me.”
The couple also shared how grateful they are for the medical staff that performed the surgery.
With the surgery a success, Camp apparently plans to recover as he also hits the road.
Slated to begin on Mar. 21, The Theatre Tour is scheduled to have Camp and opening act, Caleb & John, travel to a dozen states over a month-long series of concerts. Adrienne Camp referenced it in her Instagram post yesterday, writing, “Tour starts soon!!”
She also quoted Scripture in a post urging fans to pray for her husband, citing Psalms 73:26: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Various organic compounds that when taken, produce the results and reactions in the body. There is a whole field known as medicinal chemistry that studies all kinds of substances, plants, etc. in nature to determine which compounds produce the effects and how.
The common foxglove plant is used to treat various heart conditions. Digitalis is an example of a drug derived from this plant that was formerly used by herbalists; herbalists have largely abandoned its use because of its narrow therapeutic index and the difficulty of determining the amount of active drug in herbal preparations (from Wikipedia).
I want to “modify” what Dee said from some scripture that the elder statesman, Charles Stanley taught us. Whatever is bound on earth, is because heaven is causing it to be bound. Whatever is loosed on earth, is because heaven has already decided for it to be loosed. Every healing and how healing happens on earth, is decided by heaven first.
